Amanda Robins is an abstract painter based in Melbourne, Australia.

Amanda has been painting for most of her life and received formal training in visual arts through Monash University, Victorian College of the Arts and the College of Fine Arts (UNSW).

She has exhibited painting and drawing nationally and internationally over the last 20 years, including as a finalist in the Dobell Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW. She has held 15 solo shows and participated in numerous curated group exhibitions during this time. 

Amanda has lectured in visual art at universities in Melbourne and Sydney and was Head of Painting and Drawing at the South Australian School of Art in Adelaide from 2007-2009.

Amanda also currently works as a psychotherapist in private practice in Melbourne.
